Zeolites:


Zeolites are crystalline aluminosilicate minerals, belonging to the family of microporous solids. They have a porous structure with small holes or channels leading to high surface area and volume. Zeolites can be used as adsorbents, catalysts and absorbents owing to their porosity which leads them to exhibit properties such as absorption, catalytic activity & adsorption.


Metals:


Metals are naturally occurring substances, which are solid at normal room temperature and have a high boiling point. They can be classified as metals or metalloids based on their physical and chemical properties. Some of the commonly used metals in catalysts include aluminum, copper, zinc, iron ore including pellet fuel (UO2), platinum group (PG) metals such as PG Platinum (Pt), PG Gold (Au), nickel and palladium.
