Alumina is a crystalline compound, primarily composed of aluminum and sodium oxide. It's chemical formula is Al2O3. The product has high thermal stability and low density which makes it suitable for use in ceramic substrates. It also provides good corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, hardness & strength to the substrate on which it is applied.
