The pores of the resin can be filled with a solvent that will dissolve the compound that is being separated. Pure silica is a term used for referring to the chemical compound, silicon dioxide. It has a purity level of 97% and was first discovered in 1777 by Carl Scheele. Pure silica is colorless, odorless, tasteless powder that exhibits no optical activity when exposed to air. It consists of octahedrally coordinated carbon and double bonds between each of the six carbon atoms.


Ultrapure Silica (Upto 99%):


Ultrapure silica is a term used for pure and highly purified silicon dioxide, which has no color of its own. It can be manufactured by two methods: thermal and chemical. In the chemical method, it is produced as a by-product in the production of orthosilicate glass.
