High Voltage:


High voltage (HV) is the general term used for electric circuits with a voltage range greater than or equal to 1000 volts. The high-voltage circuit breakers are designed to withstand the highest short-circuit current and have multiple protective devices connected in series, which helps protect it from damage. These circuit breakers are installed across transmission and distribution lines, substation facilities, buildings with heavy electrical equipment such as transformers & switchgears along with other electrical apparatus.


Low Voltage:


Low voltage is a general term used for electrical equipment with power supply between 100V to 1000V. It includes consumer electronic products such as computers, LCD/LED screens, washing machines and other home appliances. The low voltage segment has witnessed significant growth over the past few years on account of increasing number of electronics devices using low voltage in order to reduce power consumption and size & weight along with improving cost-efficiency.
