65-79 is a range of cement with low ash content, high water and lime content. It has lower carbonate content than standard cements. The product was developed by the Cement Research Institute in India for use in Indian market conditions. 65-79 is characterized by higher strength and durability as compared to 40-60 and 80-90, which makes it suitable for use in structural applications such as beams, columns, flooring blocks or walls.
