Granule:
Granule is a small pellet of excrement which is formed in the colon and passes out with the stool. It usually remains in the stomach for about an hour before it's fully passed into the intestine. Granules are made up of protein, fat, and other ingredients; they may vary from 1 to 5 mm across.
The function of granule is to soften stools so that they can be easily removed from body by bowel movements.
