Pyridines:
Pyridines are organic compounds with a pyridine base and they are colorless, water-soluble, and highly toxic. They have a fruity odor similar to vinegar. It is usually prepared by heating 4-hydroxypyridine in concentrated hydrochloric acid (HCL) solution and the product obtained is called as 4-hydroxypyridine or simply pyridines.
