Product Definition:


Crude steel is a type of alloy that is composed of iron and other metals. It has a high carbon content and is not yet melted down into specific shapes or products. Crude steel is important because it can be melted down and formed into many different products, such as rods, bars, sheets, and tubes.


Fully Deoxidized Steel:


Fully deoxidized steel is a new term in the steel industry. It was introduced to distinguish a special type of steel that has been fully deoxidized or completely neutralized with respect to its chemical composition. Such kind of steels possess better mechanical properties and are free from internal corrosion, hence they are preferred for manufacturing various components used in construction, automotive and oil & gas industries.


Semi Deoxidized Steel:


Semi deoxidized steel is a type of crude steel which has been processed at low temperatures (around 0 to 200 degrees) and high pressure levels (above 20 kilopascals). Crude steel contains carbon, sulfur, and other impurities. These impurities have to be removed during the manufacturing process.


The most common method used for their removal is acid washing.
