ARINC 429/629 is a standard for the exchange of aircraft data and consists of two protocols, ARINC 629 and ARINC429. The two protocols are similar but have some minor differences. Both use Ethernet as their underlying communication protocol, which simplifies implementation by allowing multiplexing on the same network cable while providing virtual separation between multiple applications running on different computers.


CAN:


The CAN (Central Processing Unit) is a multi-channel network that processes commands and data in the form of a stream of bites. It controls most functions in an automobile, from fuel injection to air conditioning operation. The Data Bus is used by all electronic devices to exchange information such as sensor data, control signals, and diagnostic codes between modules or systems.
