The mirror type dew-point hygrometer is a device used to measure the humidity level of an air sample. It works on the principle of reflecting light into the sensor and detecting changes in reflected light. The working principle can be best understood by considering a simple example, if we have a shiny surface then any small particle present there will reflect some amount of incident light and will appear in our sensor as an object which is called “the image”.
Electrolytic:
Electrolytic dew point hygrometer is an instrument used to measure the moisture content of the air. It works on the principle of electrical measurement of moisture in gases by means of a dry ice-saturated filter. The working principle behind this device is very simple, it uses a metal electrode and acid solution ( usually sulfuric or phosphoric acid) which acts as an electrolyte.
