Hydrogen-free DLC films are produced by the chemical vapor deposition process and possess properties such as high thermal conductivity, low electrical resistivity and optical transparency along with high hardness. These properties make it suitable for use in applications including wearables & electronics devices along with industrial tools & equipment.
Hydrogenated DLC:
Hydrogenated DLC films are produced by the chemical reaction between hydrogen and dextrin (a carbohydrate polymer) to form a thin film. Hydrogenated dextrin-co-polymer is used as a coating material in the production of diamond-like carbon films.
