It's an organic intermediate used to produce polycarbonate and other industrial chemicals. Industry-grade dimethylmalonic acid is a colorless liquid that has a mild odor similar to vinegar. It's highly soluble in water with a pH level between 4 and 7.
Pharmaceutical-Grade Dimethylmalonic Acid:
Pharmaceutical-grade dimethylmalonic acid (DMAA) is a synthetic compound, which has been used as an anti-cancer agent in oncology treatment. It is also used to treat cardiovascular diseases and arthritis. DMAA is a non-toxic organic chemical that can be naturally found in the body as well as produced by the human body.
