Dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) is a plasticizer used in the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products. PVC products made with DOTP are more flexible and have a better resistance to cracking than those made without it.

Reagent grade is a high purity form of the product which is used for laboratory analysis. It has no commercial application but finds its utility in research and development studies.
