A direct drive wind turbine generator is a type of wind turbine where the electric generator is directly attached to the rotor shaft. This eliminates the need for a gearbox, which can be a weak point in other designs. Direct drive generators are often more expensive to manufacture, but they are more reliable and require less maintenance than geared turbines.


5KW:


5KW is the power rating of wind turbines which are used to generate electricity. The 5KW wind turbine has a capacity of producing enough power for a household of four and also covers the basic energy needs of an average small business. Wind turbines with 5 kW capacity are best suited for residential areas, small towns, and rural areas where there is ample space available around the turbine location to accommodate it.


10KW:


The 10KW is the power output in terms of kW which is used to convert the rotational kinetic energy into electrical energy. The direct drive wind turbines have a simple design and are easy to install. These types of turbines can be installed on any type of land, including hilly or uneven land as they do not require a foundation.
