Airborne Jammer:
Airborne jammer is a device that disrupts the lock-on of an infrared homing missile by producing a false target image. It's primary function is to protect friendly aircraft from missiles launched from the air and outer space. An airborne jammer can be either mounted on an aircraft or deployed as part of a directed infrared countermeasures system (IRCM).
