Alkali Wood Pulp Or Sulfate Wood Pulp:
Alkali wood pulp or sulfate wood pulp is a special type of wood pulp that is used in the manufacturing of paper and boards. It’s chemical composition makes it more suitable for use in DWP (Dissolving Wood Pulp) industry. The process of making alkaliwood pulps more acidic by adding sulfuric acid gives rise to two important characteristics, firstly, strength and secondly water retention property.

Wood pulp of sulfite is a special type of wood pulp that contains less than 15% moisture by weight. It is used in the production of chlorine-free paper for printing and writing papers, tissue, and corrugated boxes. The product has high demand as it does not contain any harmful chemicals such as mercury or lead which are found in other types of wood pulps.
The raw material required to manufacture the product includes hardwood from eucalyptus trees.
