It consists of two metal blades, which are separated by an insulating space and can be manually operated or automatically activated by a controlling mechanism. The operation depends on the position of two blades; one blade acts as an earth terminal while the other serves as a control terminal.

Combined Earthing Switches:


A combined earthing switches is a device that enables two conductors to be used in one cable, thereby reducing the overall cost of installation. It also helps in minimizing the number of wires required for electrical installations. The product finds application in commercial and residential buildings for switching electricity supply and can be used with PVC, PEF, EPEF or XLPE insulated cables.
