Product Definition:


The EBSD detector is a device used to detect the presence of electrons that have been scattered from their original path by atoms in a material. The detector works by measuring the number of scattered electrons that are present in a given area and then using this information to create an image of the material. This image can be used to determine the position and orientation of individual atoms within the material.

The standard is a method of measuring the size or area of an object. It helps in comparing two objects, which are supposed to have similar properties. The most common way to measure the size of an object is by using a unit called the square meter (m2). A square meter is defined as 1 m X 1 m and can be used for measuring any shape that has sides equal to or greater than 0.1 m.


High Speed:


High speed is a property of some materials that allows them to respond faster than the light. In EBSD, high-speed cameras are used to capture images at 1000 frames per second. The images are then transferred to the computer for analysis and processing. High speed cameras can be either mechanical or electronic in nature and their prices range from USD 250 to USD 3000 (USD 3 - 19,000).
