Conductive paste type is a new term in the EMI shield film market and it has been used for only one product till now, namely, CPT-11 from 3M. The conductive paste type was first introduced by 3M in their CPT-11 product which is a copper based alloy with an average of 11% by weight of pure copper.


Metal Alloy Type:


Metal alloy types include copper-zinc, aluminum-copper and tin-plated steel. These alloys are used in EMI shield films on account of their superior properties such as high electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance and ductility.
