Endobronchial ultrasound biopsy (EBUS) is a diagnostic procedure that uses an ultrasound probe to obtain images of the inside of the airways. EBUS can be used to detect and biopsy tumors or other abnormalities in the lungs.


Transbronchial Aspiration Needles:


Transbronchial Aspiration Needles are used for the removal of mucus, blood and other foreign objects from the airways of patients. The device is a bronchoscope with attached suction apparatus. It is inserted into the lung through the mouth or nose using flexible tubing. The transbronchial part refers to its use in removing secretions from outside airways while it's inserted inside bronchi of lungs.


Biopsy Forceps:


Endobronchial ultrasound biopsy forceps is a device used to obtain tissue samples from the lung for diagnostic purposes. It's main function is to help remove airway lining cells (epithelium) during endobronchial ultrasound biopsy. The instrument consists of two metal prongs, which are used to grab the sample and pull it out through the opening in the bronchoscope.


The forceps are made up of stainless steel.
