VA is a copolymer of vinyl alcohol and ethylene. It has similar chemical properties as ethylene but lower molecular weight. VA is used in various applications such as adhesives, sealants, coatings, and elastomers owing to its high flexibility at low temperatures along with excellent mechanical strength and toughness.
