Product Definition:


Eutectic Al-Si alloy is a type of aluminum alloy that contains silicon and aluminum in equal amounts. This alloy has a very low melting point, making it easy to work with. It is often used in automotive and aerospace applications.


Single Eutectic:


Single Eutectic is a phase transition temperature of pure eutectic mixture. It represents the upper limit of liquid-state alloy and lower limit of solid-state alloy. Single Eutectic is also known as Snetztet or Sn/Tn (Sn, Tl) depending upon the ratio between Sn and Tl content in it.


Hypereutectic:


Hypereutectic is a phase transition in which the temperature of the alloy increases above its melting point without it ever reaching liquid state. The change from solid to liquid takes place at lower pressure than that required for eutectic transition, i.e., when the pressure is increased by approximately 10% compared to that required for eutectic transition, no significant changes occur in physical properties such as hardness and ductility.
