Nanoscale Expended and Vitrified Ball (NVEB) is a new material type, which has been created by high temperature and high pressure processing of ceramics. Nanoscale Expended and vitrified ball consists of particles having a size between 1 to 100 nanometers. These balls are made from materials such as alumina, silica, zirconia-based ceramic or titania-based ceramic.
Micron Level Expended and Vitrified Ball:
The Micron level spent and vitrified ball are used in the market for the production of glass beads, specialty glass products, fiberglass reinforced plastic products and other industrial applications. The process flow includes melting of base materials such as sand or ceramics by high temperature furnace to produce final product which is then transferred to be drieder where it is further divided into two parts namely micron level spent material and vitrified ball.
