Explosion Isolation Valves are used to prevent the spread of an explosion within a process piping system. They are typically installed in the line between the process and any vessels that could be ruptured by an explosion, such as storage tanks or reactors. This prevents secondary explosions from taking place and minimizes damage to equipment.

Horizontal explosion isolation valves are used to control and monitor the flow of a fluid in a horizontal well. They are installed at regular intervals along the length of the well, typically every 30 to 50 feet. The function of these valves is to prevent columnar explosions or jets from shooting up into the atmosphere owing to gas accumulation in an enclosed space. These devices operate by controlling and monitoring pressure fluctuations that build up within enclosed spaces such as wells, storage tanks, pipelines, etc.


Vertical Explosion Isolation Valves:


Vertical explosion isolation valves are used to prevent the backflow of gases and liquids in process industries. These valves have a body made up of non-corrosive material and operate at extremely high temperatures. They are installed on the vertical shaft in process industries, which is generally above ground level.
