The split type level switch is a two-way valve which can be used to control the liquid level in containers. It consists of an actuator and a diaphragm which are mounted on top of each other with air between them. The liquid to be measured flows between the diaphragm and actuator, opening & closing the circuit, thereby creating an electrical signal that is processed by a microcontroller unit (MCU) controlling the operation of switching on/off.
