Vegetable based fat liquors are obtained from plant oils such as soybean oil, sunflower oil and rapeseed oil. Fish oil based fat liquors are obtained from fish oils such as cod liver oil and salmon oil. Synthetic fat liquors are made by chemically combining two or more substances to form a new compound. Semi-synthetic fat liquors are made by chemically modifying natural fats or oils with some chemical compounds added to it .
