Primary fatty amine is a raw material which is used for the production of Fatty Amine Ethoxylates (FAE). It has applications in detergents, soaps, shampoos and cosmetics. Primary fatty amines are manufactured by several methods including hydrolysis of vegetable oils & fats and synthesis from amino acids. The product obtained is a white crystalline solid with an odor similar to that of ammonia.
Secondary Fatty Amine:
Secondary fatty amine is a chemical compound and it's main function is to increase the solubility of other chemicals so that they can be easily applied in water. It also helps in increasing the stability of these compounds. Secondary fatty amines are used as emulsifiers or wetting agents for various products such as detergents, oils, greases, cosmetics & personal care products and paper & pulp industry among others.
