Feed fats and proteins also contain essential vitamins and minerals that are necessary for the animals' health.

Meat & Bone Meal:

Meat & Bone Meal, also known as MBM or Meat and bone meal is a by-product obtained from the slaughter of cattle, poultry and other animals. It consists of tissues such as meat and bones which are broken down to release their nutrients. MBM contains high levels of amino acids, nucleotides (RNA), minerals including calcium phosphate, potassium citrate & magnesium sulfate among others.

Blood Meal:

Blood meal is a by-product obtained from the slaughter of animals and is used as an essential source of energy in animal feed. It consists of amino acids, minerals, vitamins and proteins. The product also contains enzymes which help in digesting food easily. Blood meals are usually available free from cost to the feed manufacturers but at times it may be purchased from retail outlets at a price ranging between USD 1 to 3 per kg depending upon its availability and demand in the market.
