Ferrochrome is a manganese alloy with chromium added. It has applications in various end-use industries including construction, automotive and electrical. Ferrochrome is used as an alloying agent to increase the hardness and strength of manganese alloys. The product also finds application in the production of steel where it acts as a corrosion inhibitor along with providing anti-corrosive properties to the metal.
