Low carbon ferroboron is a new term in the market and it has been used for only about two years. It was developed to differentiate between normal (high carbon) and slightly low (carbon below standard) boron levels present in a particular alloy. The slight difference between the two makes it possible to produce special alloys that have properties superior to those of normal high-carbon steel, while at the same time being easier on the eyes than most other steels.


Medium Carbon (C¢â€°¤2.5%, 4%~19%B):


Medium carbon is a form of carbon, which has molecular formula C?2.5H?4. It is also known as peat or lignite and occurs in nature as a result of incomplete combustion of organic materials in forest fires or bushfires. The majority source for production of medium carbon is from biomass (for example, coal-fired power stations).
