Fine Atomized Ferrosilicon is an alloy of iron and silicon that is used to make steel. It is made by atomizing molten silicon and ferrous alloys. Fine Atomized Ferrosilicon has a very small particle size, which makes it ideal for use in steelmaking.


Reagent Grade:


Reagent grade is a high purity form of ferrosilicon. It has no impurities or other metals and is 99.5% pure by volume. The demand for reagent grade is increasing in the fine atomized ferrosilicon market owing to its properties such as corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, hardness and ability to withstand high temperature which makes it suitable for use in stainless steel industry.


Industrial Grade:


Industrial grade ferrosilicon is a type of ferrosilicon that has been processed to remove most of its contaminants. It contains around 99% pure silicon and hence is used in applications where high purity is required. Industrial grade product finds application in the production of stainless steel, superalloys, cast irons & ducts, specialty steel alloys and tool steels among others.
