A flea and tick product is a type of medication used to prevent and/or treat infestations by fleas or ticks. These products are typically topical, meaning they are applied directly to the skin or fur of the animal. They may also be in the form of a collar, tablet, or liquid that is administered orally. Flea and tick products are important for preventing both diseases and discomfort caused by these pests.


Oral Pill:


Oral pills are small sized solid or liquid medicines that are taken by mouth. They can be formulated as coated tablets, granules, powders and liquids. The most common type of oral pill is a tablet which is used to treat infections such as malaria and dengue among others. Some other types of oral pills include monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), vitamins, minerals supplements like multivitamins and omega 3 fatty acids among others.


Spray:


Spray is a liquid that is applied to the skin to kill fleas and ticks. It also has an effect on repellents, making it more effective. The active ingredient in spray usually consists of pyrethrin or some other form of pyrethrum which has an extremely high concentration and acts as a very strong insecticide by causing rapid death among insects that come into contact with the skin.
