The production process of PVF involves two major steps including hydrolysis of vinyl fluoride and condensation of polyvinylidene fluoride with calcium sulfate or sodium carbonate as an additive.

Fluoroelastomer is produced by the polymerization of Fluorine-based monomers such as Polyfluoroprene (PFP) or Polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT). The product has high resistance to oil and chemicals and excellent abrasion resistance. It also offers low permeability to gases at high temperatures along with good electrical insulation properties.
