Single-sided Probing Tester, also known as flying probe tester or just probe tester is an electronic test equipment used to test the functionality of printed circuit boards (PCB) and microprocessors in electronic devices. It consists of a set of probes that are connected to an external device that can be inserted into any open port on the PCB or PCBA.
Dual Sided Probing Tester:
Dual Sided Probing Tester (DST) is used for testing printed circuit boards and PCBA in the flying probe tester. It helps to identify problems such as bad connections, tracks not connected, bent or loose wires during the production process.
The DST has two sets of test probes which are used by two technicians at a time to conduct tests simultaneously.
