The most common types of synthetic rubber are Polyisoprene (PI) and Butyl Rubber (IIR). Synthetic rubber was first developed in 1839 by Charles Goodyear who patented the process in 1844.


PVC:


Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC is a thermoplastic polymer. It is produced from the reaction of vinyl chloride and chlorine.
