A Fructosamine Reagent is a molecule that reacts with the amino acids in a protein to form a fructosamine. The fructosamines are then used as biomarkers to measure the average blood sugar level over the past two to three weeks.

R1 2*23 ml is a solution of glucose (dextrose) in water, which is used as an internal standard for the measurement of total blood sugar. It has no known side effects and can be given to patients with diabetes without any risk.


R1 5*25 ml; R2 5*6.3 ml:


R1 5*25 ml Reagent is used for the determination of total fructosamine in human plasma and serum. It also determines the rate of change of plasma or serum fructosamine with time after an infusion has started. R1 helps to monitor patients during treatment with insulin, oral hypoglycemic drugs or a combination of both.


R2 5*6.3 ml reagent is used for measuring free amino acids (FAA) in human plasma.
