The AZS33 (Azo-Strong Scaffold) is a new scaffold that has been developed by the scientists of Wuhan University for the study. It was found that this scaffold can increase the strength of ceramic materials and also reduce their density. The scientists have tested it on different types of refractories, such as alumina, silica-based ceramics, zirconia and tungsten carbide.


AZS36:


AZS36 is a new generation ceramic material developed by the scientists of the Skoltech Center of Excellence at The University of Texas at Austin. AZS36 has unique properties such as high thermal conductivity, low density, and porosity which make it an ideal material for use in Fused Cast Products (FCP).
