Ethylenglycol Mono Stearate:


Ethylenglycol mono stearate (EESt) is a colorless liquid, which is soluble in diethyl ether, acetone and water. It has an odor similar to that of glycerol. Ethylenglycol mono stearate is manufactured by the reaction of ethylene oxide with palmitic acid at 80°C for 4 hours under a pressure of 5kg/sq.cm.
