Integrated Sensor (IS) is a technology that involves the integration of different functional units into a single device. IS was initially developed for military applications but its usage extends across several commercial sectors as well.


Conventional Sensor:


Conventional sensor is a device which is used to measure the intensity of light and it's used in glare sensors market. It works on the basis that when there is intense light source then it produces an electrical signal and when its dark then it doesn’t produce any signal. These conventional sensors are available in different forms such as photoresistive, thermopile, photo-transistor etc.


Application Insights:

The sensors are integrated with vehicle safety systems, such as anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC) and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). In case of a risk, the device will automatically apply the brakes to prevent accidents.
