A glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) is a composite material made of a matrix of polymers reinforced with glass fibers. The polymer matrix can be made from thermoset plastics such as epoxy, polyester, and vinylester, or thermoplastic materials such as polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA6), and polycarbonate (PC).


Polyester is a synthetic, heat-resistant fiber that was first developed as an artificial fiber for textile applications. Polyester fibers are widely used in the manufacturing of fabrics such as apparel & home furnishing fabrics owing to its properties such as wrinkle-proof & easy cleaning characteristics along with high durability.

Vinyl Ester:

Vinyl ester is a polymer and an important additive in the glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) industry. It is produced by chemical synthesis of vinyl alcohol with an alkali catalyst, such as sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide. The global demand for vinyl ester has been increasing on account of its wide range of applications in various industries including construction, automotive and electrical & electronics owing to high performance properties at low cost.
