Gold(III) Bromide is a compound of gold and bromine with the chemical formula AuBr3. It is a yellow solid that is soluble in water. Gold(III) Bromide has been used as a photographic developer and in other industrial applications.

97% purity gold bromide is a bright yellow solid material, which contains approximately 2.0 wt % of gold by weight. It has a low melting point (160-171 oC) and decomposes on exposure to air, therefore it needs to be stored under controlled conditions. 97% purity AuBr3 is used in the preparation of electroplating solutions for plating steel or other metals with high corrosion resistance and good electrical conductivity properties.

98% purity gold is the purest form of gold available in the market. It is produced by evaporating a solution of gold and brine (a mixture of sodium chloride and calcium chloride) through a process known as panning.
