Graphene oxide deionized water solution is a graphene oxide dispersion in ultrapure water. It is used as a precursor for making graphene-based materials and devices.

D50 is a type of water-soluble dyes that are used in the Graphene Oxide Deion (GOD) solution. It has been observed that D50 when added to the GOD solution, changes its color from pale yellow to deep blue within a few minutes. The change in color indicates the presence of graphene oxide in the solution and this is because D50 contains an ionic group attached to it which allows it to bind with oxygen ions present in water.
