DDR SGRAM has twice the bandwidth of regular DDR memory, but with the same number of wires as standard GDDR5 memory used in video cards.

GDDR2 can be used for the creation of 3D graphics and videos, which are then played back by the monitor or projector. The primary function of this memory type is to provide higher bandwidth (64 GB/s) and faster clock rates (7000 MHz) than standard DDR technology (32 MB/s).
