Product Definition:
A heat transfer ink is a special type of ink that is used in conjunction with a heat press to create designs on fabric. The ink is applied to the fabric, and then the design is printed onto the fabric using a standard printer. Once the design has been printed, it is placed on the heat press and heated for a set amount of time. This causes the ink to melt and adhere to the fabric, creating a permanent print.
Disperse Ink:
Disperse ink is a type of heat transfer printing ink which contains pigments and additives. It has high thermal stability, low viscosity, and good flow properties. The most important feature of this product is that it can be dispersed in any liquid carrier with the help of mild to strong physical agents like water or alcohol.
Reactive Ink:
Reactive ink is used in heat transfer printing process. It contains pigments that change their physical properties when exposed to heat. The most common example of such property is the melting point rise of a metal oxide, which allows it to be used as an excellent bonding agent for the production of printed circuit boards (PCB).
The reactive ink also has other applications like it can be utilized as a coating material for plastics.
