Disposable Haemocytometer:


Disposable hemocytometer is used for measuring the volume of blood cells in a given sample. It works on the principle of hemocytometer which consists of two chambers, one filled with colored solution and other with known amount of blood sample to be measured. As different particles in blood respond to electric charges, they attract or repell each other depending upon their chemical properties. The difference between these two amounts represents the number of red blood cells present in a specific volume unit.


Reusable Hemocytometer:


A reusable hemocytometer is used for measuring the concentration of blood cells in a given sample of blood. It works on the principle that red blood cells (RBCs) adhere to the surface of a cuveau, and once they are attached, they cannot be moved until they are broken or removed from the cuveau.
