Valacyclovir:


Valacyclovir is an antiviral medication used for the treatment of recurrent labial herpes. It is also used to prevent future outbreaks by about 60% to 70%. Valacyclovir hydrochloride tablets are approved by the U.S. FDA and EMA for the treatment of recurrent labial herpes simplex virus (HSV) infection in adults and children above five years of age, respectively.
