PPA:


Polyphenylene Amine (PPA) is a synthetic organic compound, which is colorless and odorless. It has a crystalline structure and amorphous solid state at room temperature. PPA can be produced by the chemical synthesis process or by polymerization of amines derived from phenol via p-phenylenediamine.


PI:


Polyisobutylene or PI is a polymer with excellent resistance to chemicals, such as solvents, alcohols and water. It has high tensile strength and flexural modulus. These properties have made it useful in the manufacturing of automotive parts, packaging films & bottles and chemical resistant gloves.


PI has been replacing petroleum-based plastics due to its biodegradable nature which makes it environmentally friendly.
