High pure platinum (HPt) is an alloy of platinum made up of at least 99.95% platinum. It is used in a variety of applications, including the production of medical devices, electrical contacts and jewelry. 3N:


3N, also known as triple neutral, is a term used for the base or starting point in any type of plating process. It has no effect on the color of an item being plated and does not affect its nutritional value. The only difference between 3N and 6N items are their sizes; while 6N has more surface area per unit volume than 3N, both have similar weight to volume ratio.


4N:


4N is the abbreviation for Four Nuclei. It is a system that represents an important aspect of platinum-based drug therapy in cancer treatment. The 4N model includes four key elements to represent the activity of platinum compounds used in cancer treatment: nuclear localization, non-pluripotent differentiation, apoptosis inhibition and necrosis induction.

High purity platinums are used in a variety of applications including electronics, chemical processing, medicine, and jewelry.
