99.9% of purity level is achieved by filtration process and 99.99% of purity level is achieved by extraction from the mine with chemical treatment to remove other metals and to obtain pure metal in its natural form, which has no impurities attached to it.

99.99% of purity level means that out of 100%, 99 will be pure and 1 will be 99.9%. It is the purest form which can be achieved by distillation or crystallization process. In chemical terms, it is a solution containing no impurities (other than water) at a concentration of more than 9999% according to European Petroleum Surveyors Association (EPSA).
