Booster pumps are used to increase the flow of a liquid or gas in a closed system. The working principle is based on positive displacement where the pump’s volume increases with increasing pressure. Circulating Pumps:
Circulating pumps are used to move fluid in a closed circuit. It is one of the most commonly used types of centrifugal pump. These are widely used for moving liquids and slurries in HVAC applications, chemical plants, refineries, food processing industries and other industrial processes where high viscosity liquid is required to be moved at low speed with less power input.
